First, take the remote in hand and start by unscrewing the small screw near the physical key; this will open the remote into two parts, allowing access to the circuit board and battery. Now, remove the battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 1616 3V); simply insert it the right way round and reassemble everything, as shown in the video!
