In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the gear shift gaiter in the Honda Civic, a very simple and quick operation. First, remove the knob by unscrewing it completely from the shaft, then grasp the gaiter by the upper ring, pull it upwards, and unclip it from the base. Once done, separate the two elements by unscrewing the 4 lower screws with a Torx screwdriver, also separate the upper ring, and insert it into the replacement gaiter, securing it with a plastic tie if necessary. At this point, you can reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
