If you want to permanently eliminate the maintenance light from the instrument cluster of your brand new Honda Civic, all you have to do is put the following into practice. Once the car ignition has been switched on and the central display of the infotainment system has started, click on the "Vehicle Settings" icon (present on the second page of the menu) and select the "Maintenance info" item. Then press the button located in the center of the screen at the bottom, select "All due items" and confirm the reset. Wait a few seconds and once the operation is complete, exit the menu.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
