After opening the bonnet, remove the bolts securing the upper battery support plate. Then disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. After that, you can remove the battery from its housing and place the new one in position. Reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, and finally reattach the bolts securing the locking plate.
