Replacing the Gear Knob on a Honda Civic 8

In this brief video guide, see how to replace the gear knob on an eighth-generation Honda Civic, produced from 2006 to 2012. First, grip the lower plastic of the knob and pull it down to detach it. Next, remove the two screws on either side of the knob using a cross-head screwdriver. Once done, you can remove the old gear knob and its lower plastic. Finally, fit a new knob by reversing the procedure: insert the lower plastic first, then screw in the new lever.
