In this brief video guide, see how to replace the gear knob on an eighth-generation Honda Civic, produced from 2006 to 2012. First, grip the lower plastic of the knob and pull it down to detach it. Next, remove the two screws on either side of the knob using a cross-head screwdriver.

Once done, you can remove the old gear knob and its lower plastic.

Finally, fit a new knob by reversing the procedure: insert the lower plastic first, then screw in the new lever.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
