Today with the help of this short video we will explain how to replace the front strut mount of a Honda Civic model 8. We start the replacement by opening the front hood and removing the cover of the right hood to then remove the bolt of the strut mount with a 14mm wrench. Now we can remove the front wheel and then lift the car on a lift. After removing the wheel and the wheel arch, we can remove the suspension strut mount as shown in the video. We remove the springs from the mount using a hydraulic compressor and install new ones using the same method, then we can reassemble the mount by tightening the fastening elements that connect the strut to the mount. Finally, we reassemble the wheel and close the hood.
