How to Replace the Front Strut of a Honda Civic 8

Today, with the help of this short video, you will learn how to replace the front strut of a Honda Civic model 8. Start the replacement by opening the front bonnet and removing the cover from the right under-bonnet area. Then, using a 14 mm spanner, remove the strut bolt. Now, remove the front wheel and lift the vehicle on a ramp. Once the wheel and wheel arch are removed, take out the suspension strut as shown in the video. Remove the springs from the strut using a hydraulic compressor and fit new ones using the same method. After that, refit the strut by tightening the fasteners that connect the shock absorber to the strut. Finally, refit the wheel and close the bonnet.
