How to Replace the Starter Motor of a Honda Accord?

To replace the starter motor of a Honda Accord, first disconnect the negative battery cable to avoid short circuits. Lift the vehicle using a jack and secure it on axle stands for stability.

Locate the starter motor, situated near the bottom of the engine. Remove the bolts and screws securing the starter motor to the engine block.

Carefully disconnect the electrical cables attached to the starter, noting their positions for reassembly. Once the old starter is removed, position the new starter motor in place.

Reconnect the electrical cables, ensuring they are securely fastened. Refit the bolts and screws to secure the starter motor to the engine.

After everything is back in place, lower the vehicle from the axle stands and reconnect the negative battery cable. Start the engine to check that the new starter motor functions correctly.

If all is well, the replacement is complete.
