How do you reset the Service light on the Hyundai Elantra?

To reset the Service light of the Hyundai Elantra, you need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle: this can be found on the bottom left of the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, you can select the car model and its corresponding version: this way you can follow the instructions on the scanner to make sure the light disappears completely. After the reset, you can disconnect the scanner and turn on the ignition to verify that it has disappeared completely.
