Let's see how to change the air filter in the engine of the Hyundai Sonata: open the hood and locate the filter housing. It is a black plastic container near the engine, with a large flexible tube.

On the sides, we find two hooks that need to be rotated 90° to unlock the cover; it is not necessary to remove it completely, just open it enough to extract the filter, which we will gently take out. Before replacing the filter with a new, clean one, it is good practice to thoroughly clean the container of dust, leaves, and debris, so that we can place the new filter in a perfectly clean area.

The filter has a rubber edge and an asymmetric shape, so it must fit perfectly with the edges of the box; then we push it into position.

We close the cover, secure the latches, and that's it.
