Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Hyundai Sonata - Years 2004-2014

The engine air filter housing (airbox) is located just behind the battery: disconnect the metal clips securing the cover to the filter housing and remove it from its position. Remove any dirt inside the filter box using a vacuum cleaner instead of compressed air, which could blow dirt into the intake manifold. After cleaning, insert the new filter and reposition the cover, securing it with the clips. You may also opt for a sports filter, which not only provides better performance but also only needs cleaning instead of replacement.
