How does the 12-volt battery reset button on the Hyundai Sonata work?

In this video we see how the 12 Volt battery reset button works on the Hyundai Sonata, but more generally on all electrified vehicles of the Hyundai brand: on this vehicle we have the engine battery, plus a normal 12 Volt battery that serves for accessories and for starting the vehicle: If this battery is running low while the vehicle is off, it will automatically deactivate, preventing us from entering the car with the electronic key or starting it with the start button. We will then have to use the mechanical key found inside the remote, and the battery reset function, to restart it. The mechanical key must be removed from the remote, remove the cover from the smaller part of the driver's door handle and open the door. Once inside, press the 12 Volt battery reset switch on the panel located on the right side of the steering wheel; we will have 15 seconds to start the vehicle, which must be driven for at least 30 minutes, or left on for the same period of time.
