Today, we suggest a tutorial that will explain how to replace the battery in a Hyundai Sonata. The steps to follow are simple and quick to complete on your own. Open the bonnet and unscrew the nut on the bracket that secures the battery; then proceed to disconnect the terminals.

Disconnect the negative terminal first and only then the positive terminal. Remove the old battery and insert the new one, connecting the terminals, first the positive and then the negative.

Screw the nut back onto the bracket and test the battery's functionality. If the battery does not work, the control unit may be the cause of the problem.
