How do you reset the ECU of the Hyundai Accent?

Model: Hyundai Accent YC, HC, MK 5 - Years 2017-2024

In order to reset the Hyundai Accent's control unit, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: here you will be able to locate the battery on the right side of the compartment. In the top left part of the battery, you will find a cover that needs to be removed in order to disconnect the negative terminal underneath; once this terminal is disconnected, it should be left disconnected for about half an hour, so that all the errors stored in the control unit can be reset.
