How to change the air filter in the Hyundai Tucson

On the Hyundai Tucson, the engine air filter is accessed by opening the engine compartment, inside the classic plastic filter box. Once the hood is opened, the filter box is immediately in view, and attention is focused on the two lateral closure clips: they are released by hand, one at a time, until the cover is free. At this point, on the Hyundai Tucson, the cover of the box is lifted just enough to access the filter. The filter is grasped and pulled out from its seat, leaving the internal housing clearly visible. Immediately after, a new, clean, and intact filter is shown, and it is positioned to be inserted into the box in the same direction as the one removed, ensuring the edges align well with the frame. With the filter placed back in its seat, the cover of the filter box on the Hyundai Tucson is closed.
