How to Change the Headlight of a Hyundai i20

In this video, we see that changing the headlight of the Hyundai i20 is not a straightforward task: you need to disassemble half the car just to change a bulb. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, an 8 mm socket wrench, a plastic spatula, and the H7 bulb that needs replacing. First, partially remove the front bumper by loosening the bolts under the bumper on the side of the headlight to be replaced. Remove the side retaining clips with the plastic spatula, and carefully detach the bumper to create working space. Next, replace the headlight by unscrewing the star-shaped fixing bolts, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the headlight. Replace the bulb by turning the base of the bulb counterclockwise, pulling out the old H7 and inserting the new one without touching the glass with your fingers. Reconnect the connector and check its operation. Refit the headlight by tightening the bolts, reconnect the bumper, ensuring all bolts and clips are properly secured, and check the alignment of the headlights. During the work, be careful with the plastic clips, which may have become brittle over time, and check the seals to prevent water ingress.
