How to Replace the Rubber Buttons on a Hyundai-Kia Remote

Model: Hyundai Hyundai Various
Part: Key

Video tutorial

Let’s see how to change the rubber buttons on a remote for a Hyundai or Kia vehicle: first, obtain replacement buttons, which can be found at a negligible price on AliExpress with code 1005005841028354 for £0.18 plus £3.46 shipping. Using a thin screwdriver, finish removing the remnants of the previous rubber buttons, and carefully clean the entire area, removing any leftover pieces and gently brushing to eliminate micro-residues that may have settled.

Snap the new button panel into place, using a small amount of suitable glue for rubber (avoid cyanoacrylate). Allow it to dry well, and that's it.
