Is the Hyundai key battery flat? Disassemble the I20 key and replace the battery. Take the key and press the release button.

Once the metal key pops out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover opens, then, using a small screwdriver, remove the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage.

Refit the cover onto the plastic of the key and test its functionality with the buttons.
