Door Handle Replacement

Model: Hyundai Elantra XD, MK 3 - Years 2000-2006

The first operation to perform is to remove the door panel: start by detaching the triangular plastic cover located near the external mirror; remove the push-fit caps covering the screws along the edge of the panel, taking care not to damage them; then unscrew the panel securing screws and pry along the edges to detach it; disconnect the window switch connector and the courtesy light. Now unscrew the handle securing screw and detach the lock and safety cables to complete the disassembly. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
