As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the external door handle on the Hyundai Elantra is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, we open the door in question, then we locate the small rubber plug on the inner edge of the door and remove it by levering it with a flat-tipped screwdriver. Once this is done, we unscrew the bolt accessible from the hole with an 8mm socket wrench, remove the lock cylinder, and, pushing it forcefully towards the front side of the vehicle, separate the handle from the door. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
