How to Perform a Service on a Hyundai IX20

In this video tutorial, you can see how to perform a service on a Hyundai IX20. The first step is to purchase 5.3 litres of engine oil (5w 40) and a new oil filter. Lift the bonnet and secure it. Next, remove the engine cover to gain access to the oil filter. To remove this cover, gently pull it off. Raise the vehicle using a lift or a hydraulic jack and place safety stands underneath. Position a plastic sheet under the car to avoid mess and a container for collecting the used oil. Unscrew the oil drain plug located at the bottom of the oil sump and wait for all the oil to drain into the container. While waiting for the oil to drain, unscrew the oil filter cap, then replace the filter and the filter gasket. Fit the new filter and screw the drain plug back under the vehicle. Lower the vehicle and top up with new engine oil.
