An easy way to refurbish the side panels of our slightly worn Hyunday Accent. First we remove the internal handles which are scratched and discolored. We just have to remove the screw that holds them fixed to the upholstery and they will come off easily. We clean and degrease them well and then we paint them in the color we prefer. Here they are a nice satin gray. A couple of coats will be needed. While they dry well, we can take care of the coating, which we will create in two colors. With upholstery vinyl (it exists in all colors - glossy, opaque, even graphite-like - and you can find it on all major e-commerce platforms) shape the mask of the upper part of the panel. Also shape the part where the handle will go, leaving a small edge. Insert the edges with a spatula into the connections between the panels. Now you can put the handle back in place. Good job!
