To replace the cabin filter on the Hyundai Elantra, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side. Disconnect the side retaining pins to allow the glove compartment to drop fully, then disconnect the cover of the rear filter box. This will allow you to remove the filter from its housing and replace it with a new part.

After the replacement, close the box with its cover and reinstall the glove compartment.
