How the TPMS Works on Hyundai Vehicles

In this video, we see how the TPMS works on Hyundai vehicles: it is designed to keep you informed about the pressure in your tyres, which can be displayed on the vehicle's display. On some models, the tyre pressure screen can be found by scrolling through the modes on the LCD display, or as a submenu in the driver assistance screen. Some models display the individual pressures of each tyre, but only after a few minutes of driving. If the system detects a significantly deflated tyre, it will alert you by illuminating the warning light and displaying the tyre and the pressure it is currently registering. In this case, reduce speed and anticipate braking; stop as soon as possible and inflate it to the correct pressure. If you decide to install the spare wheel, remember that it does not have pressure sensors, so the light will remain on until the normal tyre is reinstalled. If the TPMS light comes on abnormally, have it checked at a Hyundai dealer. To change the TPMS settings, go to settings/general/unit/tyre pressure. This way, you can change the unit of measurement from PSI to Bar or vice versa.
