In this video, see how to retrieve the radio code for a Hyundai vehicle after changing the battery, as the system detects that the radio has been tampered with. To restart it, you need to enter the security code. This system was created to deter car radio thieves, as they were one of the most easily stolen components in the past. The code should be on a small white sticker in the glove compartment and will contain 5 digits: enter those 5 digits into your radio and you're good to go. If you can't find it, you can retrieve the radio code using the vehicle's VIN, which you can find on the registration document or at the base of the windscreen, and use it on the INSTANT-RADIO-CODE.COM website. The code number is also written on the radio, but you will need to remove it from its housing.
