How to Replace the Key Battery of the Infiniti QX50

This article shows how to replace the key battery of the Infiniti QX50. For this operation, a flathead screwdriver is required. To replace the battery, first remove the emergency key by pressing the designated lever and then pulling the key outwards. Once the emergency key is removed, insert the screwdriver into the designated space at the bottom of the key, then lever it up; the key will lift, so continue to lift the key by prying with the screwdriver along the edges. Once the key is open, you will have access to the battery; now use the screwdriver to remove the battery, insert the new battery, then close the key by pressing to reinsert the fixing clips, and finally reinsert the emergency key into its designated slot.
