On the Infiniti QX60, the fuel door may get stuck, possibly due to a problem with the release button or the lock actuator. In these cases, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the trunk lid, then remove the left side cover by unscrewing the indicated screw. Next, locate the actuator, grasp the outer pin, and pull it toward the rear of the vehicle to unlock the latch.

At this point, you can refuel and repair the faulty component.
