It is essential to open the fill plug first because if you open the drain plug and then cannot open the fill plug, you will be in trouble. Start pumping the new oil: the level is correct when the oil begins to flow out of the fill hole. At this point, you have reached the correct quantity. Re-tighten the fill plug and dispose of the used oil at an authorised centre.
