Let's see how to change the differential oil on an Iveco Daily: place the new oil in a basin with hot water; this will make it more fluid and easier to transfer. Now locate the plugs under the differential: the fill plug is at the top, and the drain plug is at the bottom.

It is essential to open the fill plug first because if you open the drain plug and then cannot open the fill plug, you will be in trouble. Position the collection container under the drain plug and let the used oil drain out, then replace the plug and fill an oil syringe (which you can find on Amazon with code B09G1M5J8R for £10.99, free delivery in 2 days for Prime customers).

Start pumping the new oil: the level is correct when the oil begins to flow out of the fill hole. At this point, you have reached the correct quantity.

Re-tighten the fill plug and dispose of the used oil at an authorised centre.
