Instructions for Dismantling the Navigation CD Player

Model: Jaguar Xf MK 1 - Years 2008-2015

The navigation CD player unit is located in the rear boot on the left side (when looking inside the boot); once you open the reader compartment door, remove all the carpet lining from the side of the boot to access the reader itself (there may be some pressure clips to remove). At this point, unscrew the mounting screws of the reader from the metal frame and pull it away from its housing, disconnect the connectors attached to it, and remove it completely. The dismantling operation is therefore very simple and does not require any special tools.
