In this video, you will see how the tyre pressure monitoring system works on the Jeep Cherokee: if the tyre pressure decreases, you will hear an audible signal, and a low tyre pressure message will be displayed on the instrument cluster, indicating which tyre has lost pressure.

When this happens, check the pressure of all tyres using the label located on the driver's door frame.

The pressure should also be checked if the warning light comes on briefly and then goes off. Keep in mind that tyre pressure changes with external temperature. Once the correct pressure is restored, you will need to drive for a few minutes to turn off the TPMS light, at a speed above 50 mph (or 24 miles/h).
