How do you replace the license plate light bulb on the Jeep Renegade?

In order to replace the license plate light bulb of the Jeep Renegade, you need to pry it out with an object, so that you can completely remove the light fixture positioned above the license plate. Once the fixture has been removed from its housing, you can disconnect the connector attached to it and also remove the bulb inside. The bulb must be disconnected from the connector, to which the new one must be connected; the new bulb can then be inserted into the corresponding fixture, so that it functions properly.
