Replacing the fuse for the cigarette lighter socket of the 2003 Jeep Cherokee is a task that can be done independently. The fuses for the socket are located inside the fuse box behind the left side panel of the vehicle, specifically fuse number 03 and fuse number 16, both 20 Amps. To replace the fuses, we need to remove the cover and use a pair of pliers to pull them out. Then we insert the new fuses and close the cover of the box. To confirm that the fuses are working, we test them by charging a phone.
