If the cigarette lighter socket in your Jeep Renegade suddenly stops working, the first thing to do is check the status of the respective fuse, the location of which is shown in this video. As shown, it is located in the fuse box inside the cabin, in the lower area of the dashboard on the driver's side.

To access it, you will need to remove the small glove compartment indicated. The fuse is 15A and is the seventh in the left column.

If it is faulty, ensure you replace it with a spare of the same specifications.
