How to Remove the Radio from a Jeep Compass

Model: Jeep Compass MK 1, MK 49 - Years 2006-2016

In this guide, we will show you how to remove the stereo mounted in the dashboard of a Jeep Compass. Remove the stereo trim using a plastic lever and detach it from the centre console where the air vents are located at the top. Once the stereo is free from constraints, unscrew the securing screws on either side using a screwdriver. Pull the stereo out with your hands and disconnect the cables at the back (for power and antenna). To reassemble, reverse the disassembly steps you performed earlier.
