Replacing the diesel filter on a Jeep Cherokee, let's see how to proceed with the replacement. We open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same. We top up the engine with the new oil. We lift the front hood and remove the soundproofing panel. With a socket wrench we unscrew the large locking pin of the container cap where the diesel filter is located. We mount the new diesel filter inside the engine compartment. We turn on and test the vehicle.
