How to Replace the Key Battery of a Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Start by pressing the black plastic button located on the top of the key for your Jeep Renegade. This will release the internal emergency physical key, which you can extract and remove. Once done, insert the tip of the emergency key into the upper slot and lever it open. Once you have pried it open, you will access the flat battery. Proceed to remove the battery, completing the disassembly. To fit the new battery, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
