Let's see how to replace the key battery on a Jeep Renegade. Get a new battery and a small flathead screwdriver. First, extract the metal key from the remote and use it to push against the groove as shown in the video, then make a small twisting motion until the plastic cover opens. Once you find the worn battery, remove it with the small screwdriver and replace it with the new battery. Close the cover by joining the two parts together. Finally, insert the metal key back into the remote.
