How to Replace the Key Battery on a Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Start by pressing and holding the button on the back of your Jeep Renegade's key fob to extract the physical emergency key. Next, use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the back cover of the key fob. Once you have removed the back cover, you will access the dead battery. Extract the battery, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new battery, follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
