How to Replace the Key Battery in the Jeep Renegade

Unfortunately, no battery lasts forever, and this applies to the button cell inside the smart key of the new Jeep Renegade. After many uses, it is necessary to replace it, but do not worry as the steps to follow are very few and intuitive. Just follow the instructions below. First, press the small button next to the Jeep logo and remove the physical emergency key. Next, using a flat screwdriver, gently pry upwards to separate the two parts of the outer cover. Right underneath, you will have access to the battery. Replace it with a new one, and finally, reassemble everything correctly.
