Replacing the Key Fob Battery on a Jeep Renegade

The video shows how to replace the battery in the key fob of a Jeep Renegade. This is a very simple operation that can be done in just a minute on your own. By moving the clip, remove the emergency key. Then, using the same key, pry open the fob into two halves. Extract the depleted battery. Insert the new 2032 battery into its compartment. Close the fob by snapping the two halves together. Finally, replace the emergency key and check that the fob works.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
