Dismantling Fog Light for Cleaning

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee MK 2, WJ - Years 1998-2004

If dirt or impurities have entered the fog light, it is possible to dismantle it for cleaning. If the glass of the light becomes cloudy and dirt infiltrates inside, complete removal of the light unit is necessary for thorough cleaning. Remove the rear retaining screws of the light using a spanner. Gently remove the light, taking care with the cables, which must be disconnected from the connector. Once the cover is removed, take out the complete light block. Dismantle the front glass and, using a drill fitted with a cloth or sponge wheel, proceed with complete cleaning. Refit the light and check the operation of the lamps and the correct alignment of the light.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
