Removing the External Rear View Mirror on a Jeep Compass 2007-2017

In this video, we will show you how to remove the external rear view mirror on a first-generation Jeep Compass, from 2007 to 2017. First, open the front door and remove the plastic covers behind the mirror using a thin lever. Then, disconnect the electrical connector of the mirror and pull away the door seal to expose all the fastening screws to be unscrewed, as shown in the video. Once the screws are removed, you can slide the rear view mirror off from the outside along with its base; then reassemble everything!
