How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Jeep Cherokee

How do you remove the fuel pump from a Jeep Cherokee? This operation is not too difficult; let’s see how to do it. Lift the car on a column lift, locate the fuel tank and then the access to the fuel pump. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the securing bolts of the fuel pump (disconnect the wires and various hoses). Once the pump is removed, take it out of the tank. Fit the new pump into the car's tank (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the securing screws. Test the vehicle's operation once it is back on the ground and maintenance is complete.
