How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Jeep Cherokee

Want to remove the fuel pump from a Jeep Cherokee? Remove the fuel tank from underneath the chassis. Lift the car on a column lift and locate the fuel filter. Use a socket to undo the securing bolts near the tank (disconnect the cables and various hoses from the tank). Once the securing screws are undone, lower the car's tank: remove the fuel pump from inside the tank (replace it with a new part). Finally, reattach the tank under the chassis (connect hoses and cables) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Lower the car to the ground after completing the assembly.
