Removing the Radio from the Dashboard on Jeep Compass

Model: Jeep Compass MK 1, MK 49 - Years 2006-2016

Replace the car radio with a new, more modern one. First, remove the covering plastics around the perimeter. Use plastic trim tools to detach the radio's plastic covers. Pry the covers away from the central console, then unscrew the side screws of the radio. Pull the radio towards you, being careful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). Install the new radio in place of the old one. Once the radio is installed, secure the plastic trim.
