This brief guide will show you how to engage 4x4 or any other driving modes on the fourth series Jeep Grand Cherokee, as well as the Cherokee. First, get into the vehicle and start the engine; you will find all the different driving modes on the central console panel (if the vehicle is equipped with them).

To engage 4x4, press the button located on the left; press it again to deactivate it: this applies to all modes (whether sand, snow, rock, or vehicle height adjustment).
