How to Reset the Oil Light on a Jeep Grand Cherokee

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2, MK 4 - Years 2010-2021

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Jeep Grand Cherokee. Turn the key in the ignition switch without activating the instrument cluster. Then, within the first ten seconds after the instrument cluster lights up, press the accelerator pedal fully three times. Once you have pressed the accelerator pedal three times, turn off the instrument cluster. After completing this step, you will have successfully reset the oil light on your Jeep Grand Cherokee.
