Activate Lane Sense and Parking Sensors on the Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Turn on the NAV system and navigate to Settings from the bottom menu. Scroll down and access the 'safety/driving assistance' settings. In the menu that appears, you can set the Lane SENSE and its sensitivity according to your preference for the safety systems. The third field allows you to set the Park SENSE, choosing whether to hear only the acoustic signal or both the visual signal from the camera and the acoustic signal. The fourth is for setting the sound volume. To activate Lane SENSE on the car console, press the button below the SCREEN OFF button; when the light is on, the setting is off. To activate it, press the button and the light will turn off. To ensure it is activated, you will see the appropriate notification on the cockpit.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
