How to Reset the Service Warning on Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

You can remove the service warning from the dashboard of your Jeep Renegade using a manual procedure without external tools. It is advisable to do this only after changing at least the oil and filter to avoid forgetting. First, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, and while keeping the brake pedal pressed, press the accelerator pedal three times within 10 seconds. You can then turn off the ignition and turn it back on to check if the warning has been successfully cleared. If it still appears, repeat the procedure by pressing the accelerator pedal five times.
