How to Replace the Windscreen on a Jeep Grand Cherokee

In this DIY video, we will discover how to replace the windscreen on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Start by removing the interior rear-view mirror as shown at 0:50, extracting the two plastic supports and then twisting the entire piece out. Next, open the bonnet and unscrew the wiper; this will allow you to remove the panel at the base of the windscreen. Now, pry around the edges, both from the outside at the top and sides and from the inside, using a spatula to insert into the lower gap. Once you have widened the gap sufficiently, you can remove the windscreen. At this point, clean the edges before applying silicone and inserting the new windscreen. Finally, reinsert the panel at the base, the wiper, and the rear-view mirror, and wait for the silicone to dry.
