Operation: How to replace the windshield on a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

In this DIY video we will find out how to replace the windshield of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. To begin we will have to remove the rear-view mirror of the passenger compartment as shown at minute 0: 50, extracting the two plastic supports and then removing, rotating it, the whole piece. After that we will have to open the hood and unscrew the windshield wipers; this will allow us to remove the panel at the base of the windshield. Now we will have to pry into the cracks around, both from the outside as regards the upper edge and the sides and from the inside, with the help of a spatula to be inserted in the lower slot. Once we have widened the gap sufficiently, we can extract the windshield. At this point we will have to clean the edges, before applying the silicone and inserting the new windshield. Now all that remains is to reinsert the panel at the base, the windshield wipers and the rearview mirror and wait for the silicone to dry.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
