Replacing the Mirror Cover on a Jeep Commander

Model: Jeep Commander MK 1 - Years 2005-2010

Detach the mirror glass using a plastic lever, then open the door and start removing the panel by unscrewing the three bolts that secure it: one is near the opening handle, one near the central grab handle, and one close to the front pillar of the car. Remove the window switch panel using the lever and a small flat screwdriver, and disconnect its connectors. Extract the panel by prying behind it to free up access to the cover: unscrew the bolts that secure it to the car door and replace it.
